The Role Engineers are expected to identify and design solutions for issues involving:
new features, interoperability, vulnerability, system limits and constraints facing the platforms and products. In addition, engineers are responsible to evaluate current capabilities and predict future needs, then work with internal stakeholders, vendors and peers to anticipate, define, and pursue these capabilities. A successful engineer is a strong communicator and relationship builder, who uses soft skills to persuade stakeholders to:
achieve consensus, obtain commitment, and take action. The engineer is a de-facto leader in the organization and is committed to directly mentoring junior engineers and technicians, while consistently demonstrating behaviors aligned with our core values. The Main Responsibilities Researches, evaluates, engineers, deploys, troubleshoots, and supports solutions and security infrastructure. Defines and executes repeatable test procedures, creation of technical documentation and delivery of scalable standards for implementation. Develops partnerships with key equipment suppliers. Communicates requirements, guidance and desired capabilities. Assists in delivering security requirements and coordinating information security risk assessments to ensure compliance with corporate policy, standards, procedures and industry best practices. Assists in the assessment of risks associated with information security for both current and proposed projects. Assists in assessing new security technologies and recommends possible implementation strategies. What We Look For in a Candidate Must possess broad technical knowledge of current and emerging technologies Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to successfully interact as a member of the engineering team and effectively collaborate in a diverse, multi-functional department. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage vendor and contract resources in the best interests of the Company 8
years of progressively expanding responsibilities and experience in telecommunications, networking, technology management or security operations Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
IT SecurityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
