I own and operate a home improvement business (Clydesdale Industries LLC) based in Bellport, NY that focuses on detailed home improvement work done well.
We engage in most aspects of carpentry (framing, finish, trim, decks,etc.
) tile setting, painting, drywall and renovation work (removing old/damaged materials and replacing with new).
Most of our jobs aren't too physically demanding but it can be at times (lifting, ladder work, kneeling, digging, etc.
) so any candidate should be prepared for that kind of work.
We don't replace roofs or work with harsh chemicals.
Almost all of my work is done in the Bellport, Brookhaven, Patchogue area of Suffolk County.
I like to have employees that live close by so that the commute doesn't become a hassle.
I am offering somewhere between part time and full time work.
( 20 to 40 hours/week).
Hourly pay is $20 to $35 an hour depending on your capabilities, experience, tool ownership and so on.
Everything is on the books.
I'd like to lead a capable friendly crew.
