Currently office hours needed are for Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:
30am-1pm and 2:
30pm-7pm; Thursday 2pm-8pm.
Experience with medical reception, scheduling and insurance billing knowledge preferred.
LOCAL APPLICANTS PREFERRED.
Primary responsibilities include :
Use of Microsoft Word/Outlook, Basic Adobe and Website interfaces necessary, Patient intake and front desk communication, Insurance verification, Data entry into patients Electronic Health Record (EHR), Data entry and posting of payments from patients and insurance claims.
Answer phones and schedule appointments, while responding to inquiries.
Administrative duties as required such as filing, photocopying, emailing and faxes.
Computer skills are essential, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe and internet web search skills.
Knowledge/Experience with Electronic health records software preferred.
Applicant should be personable and work well with others as a part of team.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
